Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Pronto Sage processes about you when you use this website and our products, and what — by design — we never receive. Our products are local-first: the content you create with them is processed on hardware you control.

1. The short version

We do not receive your dictated audio, transcripts, or documents. Our products process content locally on your device or on servers your organization operates. There is no content telemetry, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.

2. What we do process

Purchases: our merchant of record (Paddle) processes your payment details, billing address, and tax information as an independent controller for checkout; we receive your email address, the product and edition purchased, and license metadata so we can issue and verify your license. See Paddle's privacy policy for their processing.

Licensing: license keys, activation records (product, edition, version line, device allowance), and entitlement status.

Support: the contents of emails you send us, and any diagnostic bundle you explicitly attach. Diagnostic bundles produced by our products are content-free by construction (state, versions, timings — never your audio or text).

Website: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) retained briefly for security and capacity purposes. No analytics profiles, no cross-site tracking, no sale of personal data.

3. Biometric-style data

Some products offer optional on-device voice profiles (see product schedules). These templates are created and stored only on your device, are excluded from diagnostics, and are deleted by you at any time. We never receive them. We do not use voice data for identification, authentication, advertising, or training.

4. Legal bases and retention

We process license and purchase data to perform our contract with you and to meet bookkeeping obligations; support data on our legitimate interest in helping you; website logs on our legitimate interest in security. We retain license records for as long as your license is valid plus applicable statutory periods, and support threads for up to 24 months.

5. Sharing and transfers

We share data only with processors necessary to run the business (merchant of record, email infrastructure), under contracts that restrict their use of it. Where data crosses borders, we rely on recognized transfer safeguards. We never sell personal data.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the GDPR where it applies), you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Exercise them at [email protected]; we respond within the statutory deadline. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Product schedules — privacy specifics

Terms can differ between products. The schedule for each product you use forms part of this document.

Schedule: Ablefor

  • Voice and text stay local. Ablefor processes dictated audio and transcripts on your Mac or on servers your organization controls. We (Pronto Sage) do not receive, store, or have any access to your audio, transcripts, or rewritten text. There is no content telemetry.
  • Speaker profile. The optional Speaker Focus profile is a compact mathematical voice template derived on your device. Enrollment audio is discarded immediately after processing; the template is stored only on your Mac, is excluded from diagnostics exports, and can be deleted in one click. It is never transmitted to us.
  • Diagnostics. Support bundles are content-free by construction: they contain product state, version, pack, and timing information — never dictated audio or text. They are sent to us only if you explicitly attach them to a support request.
  • License data. To activate and verify licenses we process your email address, order/customer id and purchase metadata from our merchant of record, your license id and edition, and your Mac's app-generated install-key fingerprint plus activation/seat and refund state. The install-key fingerprint identifies an install, not you or your hardware. We never receive dictated audio, transcripts, prompts, or document text for licensing.
